About Husband Hacks
Welcome to Husband Hacks.com! I’m really excited that you’re here checking out what Husband Hacks is all about! Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Kelly and I am the writer and keeper of Husband Hacks. Each week I post my thoughts on marriage, being a Godly man in a fallen world, and the occasional techy/geeky thing I find lying around the Internet. I am a man that is deeply in love with his wife and his Lord. I make no claims to be an expert on marriage; I’m just a guy that has a passion to see people’s marriages succeed. I’m definitely still learning.
Just like my marriage, I am new to blogging. It’s a new medium for me to express the ideas that I have and the experiences I have trying to be the best husband I can be. I can’t guarantee that the writing will always be the best but what I can promise you is that I will be consistent in my content. I will post at least once a week starting out (maybe more as I get more comfortable posting each week). I also promise that I will be honest with my views but open to hear your views as well. My hope is that this place will be a place for open, honest discussion about our experiences with marriage and how we try to make it work.
Who writes this stuff?
As I said, my name is Kelly. I live in Spokane, WA and I’ve been married to my beautiful wife for 4 years. I’ve never really thought of myself as a writer or blogger but I stumbled across John Saddington’s tentblogger.com and I kinda got the blogging bug. So I decided to start a blog. But about what?
I’ve always had really strong views about relationships and how God designed them. I spent my high school years giving relationship advice to everyone from my closest friends to my extended family. It seemed like something I enjoyed talking about, maybe I could blog about it?
I knew I wanted to write about relationships, specifically marriage, but what do I call it? I was reading one of John’s posts on tentblogger and he mentioned he had some domain names for sale. One of them was husbandhacks.com. It just kinda clicked in my head. It’s totally something that could work. And thus husbandhacks.com was born!
I do hope you’ll stick around and share your ideas with me as I share mine here on this blog.
